Functional lab work that surfaces the patterns standard panels miss: thyroid and hormone balance, inflammation, blood sugar regulation, nutrient status, and cardiovascular risk. Ordered by Mindy Hickey, APN, after she listens to your story, and read with you inside a Wellness Visit so the numbers connect to body, mind, and how you actually feel.
Conventional panels were built to flag disease. Functional panels read the same labs against a tighter, optimal range and add markers that catch a metabolic shift before it gets named. The findings anchor a protocol built around your results, your history, and the life you actually want to be living.
Hormones
A full sex-hormone read plus thyroid beyond TSH alone. Enough signal to see actual ratios, not one slice.
Metabolism
Fasting insulin and A1c read alongside lipids and inflammation, so we catch insulin resistance early.
Inflammation
hs-CRP plus homocysteine flag chronic patterns that often sit behind fatigue, brain fog, and joint pain.
Nutrients
B12, folate, iron, ferritin, and 25-OH Vitamin D, the deficiencies that quietly drive a lot of the symptoms.

Process
How it works.
Four steps. The panel is APN-ordered, so it is not self-booked.
Step 01
Start the conversation.
Book a free 30-minute consultation, or submit a request through our contact form. We listen, ask about your history, and tell you whether a panel is the right next step.
Step 02
Mindy orders the panel.
Mindy Hickey, APN, reviews your intake and orders the panel that matches your story and goals. The Functional Health Panel is practitioner-ordered, not self-served.
Step 03
Draw at Labcorp.
Lab draw happens at Labcorp. Labcorp can bill your insurance and coverage depends on your individual plan. Call your carrier ahead of your draw to confirm.
Step 04
Review with the APN.
Once results are back, Mindy walks you through every marker inside your Wellness Visit and the findings anchor the protocol.
Pricing
One panel, scoped to you.
The Functional Health Panel is ordered by Mindy based on your intake and drawn at Labcorp. The $420 covers the bloodwork; the Wellness Visit where Mindy reads every marker against your story is booked separately.

Additional testing (DUTCH, Stool, Mold) quoted on request
Additional testing
When the standard panel isn't enough.
Layered on when your history calls for them. Each is APN-ordered and requires a conversation first.
DUTCH Test Plus
Dried urine and saliva panel covering hormone metabolites, cortisol awakening response, B-vitamin and glutathione markers, neurotransmitter metabolites, melatonin, and oxidative stress.
Stool Analysis
GI panel for clients with malabsorption, abdominal pain, mood changes, or autoimmune patterns. Looks at gut flora, inflammation, digestion, and pathogens.
Mold Testing
Used when symptoms suggest mycotoxin exposure (chronic fatigue, brain fog, recurrent respiratory issues). Identifies which mycotoxins are present and at what level.
Pricing is shared with you directly. Each test is added when your story calls for it, not by default.
