Conventional care
The 15-minute visit.
- Visit
- 7 to 15 minutes
- Diagnostic
- Symptom-focused, panel-light
- Plan
- Prescription-first. Take this. Comply.
- Follow-up
- Next sick visit, when something else breaks
- Cost
- Insurance pays. You don't see the number.
We built this for the people a 15-minute visit was failing. Two practitioners who decided root-cause work wasn't optional, a team that listens before it tests, and a practice rooted in science and delivered with heart.

Why we exist
The pattern we kept seeing, and the practice we built in response.
01 · What we kept seeing
Patients with low energy, brain fog, ADD, chronic fatigue, told their labs were "normal." A pattern, repeated, year after year.
02 · What we found
Gene variants tied to nutrient absorption, hormones, and metabolism explained why generic protocols kept failing. The right plan started with the right diagnostic.
03 · What we built
Not because longer is better, but because the room to listen, learn, and walk the plan together is the difference between symptom management and real healing. The practice is the rebuttal.
Functional vs conventional
Same patient, two different worlds. Here's how the practice differs from the model most people are used to.
Conventional care
The Fitness Factory
Conventional care has its place: emergencies, acute issues, surgical needs. The point isn't that one is better than the other. It's that for the slow, root-cause work, the 15-minute model was never going to be enough.
Core principles
The fundamentals every recommendation is anchored to.
The body is one interconnected system. We don't treat hormones, gut, or sleep in isolation. We look at how each is influencing the others.
Symptoms are signals, not the problem. We follow them back to the why (the deficiency, the stressor, the variant) and address it there.
Care tailored to your unique biology and the way your week actually runs. Generic protocols generate generic results.
True wellness lives at the intersection of all three. We treat the physical, mental, and emotional together, because they were never separate to begin with.
Meet the team
Practitioners and coaches who lead with curiosity, compassion, and the belief that every story deserves to be heard before a plan is written.

Founder & CEO
After two decades in Corporate America, balancing a high-powered career while raising a family, Malin often found herself meeting the expectations of others at the expense of her own well-being. Through a personal journey of overcoming trauma, depression, and anxiety, she uncovered a deep passion for mental health and holistic wellness, realizing how interconnected the body and mind truly are. That experience inspired W.E.L. Fitness Factory: a space to educate and equip others with the tools to take control of their physical and mental health.

Co-Founder · APN
Melinda is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years in healthcare. Drawing on her background in the hospital "sick care" system, she is passionate about shifting the focus to preventative, holistic care. She pairs clinical expertise with a compassionate, educational approach, helping clients understand their genetic predispositions and address the underlying causes of fatigue, stress, and chronic health issues through science-driven, individualized care.

RN · NBC-HWC
Morgan is a Nationally Board-Certified Coach with over 13 years of nursing experience. After witnessing the ways the current healthcare system falls short, she set out to find a more effective approach to healing. Her work takes a personal, holistic view of wellness, pairing evidence-based strategies with compassionate guidance to move clients beyond symptom management toward true, lasting well-being.

Administrative Lead · Executive Assistant
Jade is the Administrative Lead and Executive Assistant to Mindy and Malin, supporting operations, innovation, and the continued development of the app. Her passion for this work comes from her own health journey. Born with hypothyroidism, she spent years battling exhaustion and the mental‑health challenges that came with feeling unwell without answers. Genetic testing finally revealed a mutation affecting her T3 and T4 conversion, giving her the clarity she needed to heal and move forward. That experience drives her commitment to helping others find the support, understanding, and empowerment they deserve.
